We haven't posted kitchen pics. lately and there has been a TON of progress. I promise to post them soon...computer and camera issues...and I'm sort of tired right now.
And a quick update on the fam...
Russ is OFF SERVICE!!! This is significant! Really--the day that Russ finishes being on service I feel like throwing a parade! We missed him so much and we're glad that when he comes home now he doesn't have to spend the entire night on the phone dictating charts and answering questions from his resident. Russ claims he almost NEVER called his attending when he was a resident!
Stock up on Gatorade and get the washer and dryer serviced because Gracie is back in soccer mode. She just returned to 3 day a week practices and she has a tournament in Atlanta this weekend and she's starting at center midfielder....GO LADY PHANTOMS!!!
Sam is hillarious. He has an entire Brian Regan (sp?) stand-up routine memorized and he throws out lines throughout the day. His teacher is quite impressed that he has had the highest average in reading for the entire school year so far. He just did a report on Copernicus-a topic that he chose because of Brian Regan's reference, "breaking some new ground there Copernicus"...if you haven't listened/seen it you really need to!
Clara is such a sweet girl when she chooses to be! She's experiencing a bit of a 6-year-old whiny phase right now. She is enjoying Cheernastics and she starts soccer again soon--she's excited that she'll be on Coach Russ' team!
David is talking a bunch. Recently, he had an enormous tantrum because I wouldn't buy him a Coke in Target. Yes, he was screaming "COKE!!" at the top of his lungs and crying big tears over it. Hmmm...I wonder how he knows about Coke!?! His other best word is "no" which he says as he shakes his head and closes his eyes. This is the answer to, "David, do you want to go night-night?"
I'm just trying not to go crazy. My talents this week include, soliciting money for school fundraisers, cleaning up vomit, getting the 2 for 1 deals at Publix, and coloring in a map for Gracie's social studies homework...sorry all you teachers out there, but she was up until 11-she had so much homework so I just colored the oceans!

Our weekly talents aline on good and bad levels: puke and Publix. Fortunately, they weren't experienced together. Glad you got some good deals!
