David decided to decorate our hardwood floors and part of our living room rug with a giant size, chisel point, "marks-a-lot" permanant marker on Friday. These were no small works of art. Each picture represents about a 1 by 2 foot area. He was very proud of his work and kept pointing at it and talking in 'david-talk' about it. I was in the driveway for 2 minutes thanking a friend who had brought Sam home from newspaper staff meeting. David is so tall and we forget just how far he can reach...and how very talented he is at opening containers of all kinds. AHHH!
Now for an advertisement for a household product you should NEVER be without. "Mr. Clean Magic Eraser" really is MAGIC!!! I can't believe all of that marker came off. Sadly, I WAS without them and ran to Mikelle's house to borrow some--she's always prepared--she should be a boy scout!
While I was cleaning the mess, David ate some dog food, unlatched the safety on our paper cutter and an started lifting and lowereing the blade, and got 2 puddings out of the cupboard and gave one to Kiwi. Both were able to bite right through the plastic cup to get to the pudding.
It was a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day!
One cute thing though--while I was scrubbing the spots, David went and got a dishtowel out of the kitchen and started wiping one of them. His helpfulness only lasted for a few seconds, but I appreciated his efforts.
