Life is back to normal...
David keeps turning the Christmas tree lights on and off...I'm trying to keep them off until I can get the tree down so as not to live up to the Alabama sterotype (sorry if I've put the song "Redneck Woman" in your head for the rest of the day).
Clara continues her campaign to convince her parents that she is responsible enough to have a real hamster, when the decision was less about responsiblity and more about rodents.
Sam has discovered the joy of an amplifier and "Should I stay or should I go?".
Gracie can't wait for her report card to arrive and hopes she didn't get a 'bad' grade (like a 93) in anything--she informed me today, however, that soccer is WAY more important than school.
I'm trying to learn how to say "no"...not going so well...helping with school fund raiser.
Russ is building a balance beam for lab mice.
Yep, back to normal.

Our hamster is systematically eating her cage. She frequently escapes, packs up whatever dog food she can fit in her mouth, and finds some little nook in the house to live in. So not only do we have a rodent loose in the house, she is a roden that produces a lot of excrement and pee. If you decide to give in and buy a hamster, we know where you can get one for free. :)
If you ever find yourself growing weak to Clara's requests, just talk to Robbie and I. We are trained professionals when it comes to denying pet requests :) (Contrary to our children's belief, we aren't completely heartless people- --I just draw the line at cleaning up messes of the animal genre and having to capture escaped rodents :) Love Josh's new, little Betta, though...
sounds fabulous. miss you guys.
Busy craziness abounds. Back to normal indeed. It was SO fun hanging out together last week. We miss you!!!
Hanging with you guys was NEVER boring. That's why we like you so much:)
